May 21-24, 2026. Don't miss this long standing classic disc golf tournament at Pender Island's own Golf Island Disc Park.

May 29-31. Pender's annual literary festival celebrating writing and storytelling. Join us for a weaving of words by authors and performers from Pender & beyond.

June 20-21, 2026. Two days, five islands.

July 18-19: New work by 12 Pender artists in a bucolic setting. In its 30th year, it is one of the most enduring and loved art shows in the Gulf Islands. "Art Off the Fence" on Facebook and Instagram.

July 31 to August 2, 2026: A community music & arts festival from Ptarmigan featuring live performances, workshops, artistic demonstrations and nature-based programming.

A Pender Island tradition since 1932. Come celebrate with us at our biggest community event.

Sep 26-27 from 11AM to 4PM: The 8th annual Fall Crawl Studio Tour. Take a self-guided tour of local artist studios to get a glimpse into the creative spaces of our island artists.

Celebrate The 6th Annual Crisp festival runs October 2-4, 2026 at Pender Island Community Hall. This vibrant fall festival features music, art, storytelling, workshops, and apple-themed fun, all focused on sustainability and community connection.

CRD and Islands Trust elections. Advanced polls open October 7 and 14. Election day October 17.

6:30PM: Anticipated film festival showcasing short-form narratives from Pender and beyond. Meet & Greet with the filmmakers.

Nov 21-22: An art show and sale featuring members of the Pender Island Art Society.

5PM on December 31: A community New Year's Eve lantern procession followed by fire dancers, stilt walkers, giant puppets, shadow dance and kayak ballet.

Mondays at the Community Hall. Engaging seniors and friends in our community. Various weekly activities with lunch at 12PM. Check the Pender Post for more details.

Join in for lunch and live music each Friday at the Community Hall. Lunch served at 12 noon.

Find local crafts, food and fun at the Winter Market, every Saturday at the Community Hall from 10am - 1pm. Be sure to check out the Food Hub barn behind the hall for locally raised and made Pender products.

Saturdays from May 16 - September 5 from 9:30AM - 1:00PM. Visit Pender's Farmers' Market where everything is made, baked or grown on Island. Products include local produce and a variety of handmade craftwork.
