Parks Canada offers a variety of nature and culture events at Roesland in the National Park Reserve every Friday during the summer months.
Join the Pender Ocean Defenders, the Pender Islands Museum, the Pender Islands Conservancy and Parks Canada for an afternoon of orca festivities. There will be live music, storytelling, crafts for kids and special exhibits at the museum. Bring your own chair. Parking is limited, so please consider carpooling or biking to the event.

Join or watch the annual car parade departing Port Browning Marina at 10:30 am along Bedwell Harbour Rd to the Pines behind the Community Hall. The Legion will serve up hot dogs and cold drinks, alongside the beer garden. The Highlanders will be playing on the hour at 12, 1 and 2pm.
Try your luck at the Legion’s classic meat draws and enjoy a lively afternoon.
