Pender hosts many great festivals and community events throughout the year. In the summer, enjoy BBQs, live music and art shows. Don’t miss our Fall Fair and be sure to ring in the new year at the Magic Lake Lantern Festival.

Popular local author Kate Braid will read from her newest collection of essays, The Erotics of Cutting Grass: Recollections from a Well-Loved Life, her new memoir about some of the highlights (and lowlights) of aging. 1PM start.
