Dr. Scott Benwell, Superintendent and Chief Executive Officer of School District No. 64, will offer us a contemporary view of Aboriginal Education in British Columbia. Meet our school district’s new Superintendent and learn about his most recent role as Field Liaison for Aboriginal Education, Ministry of Education, Province of British Columbia.

Joining Dr. Benwell in this discussion will be Shannon Johnston, Principal of Fernwood Elementary School and Aboriginal Education Coordinator, for School District 64; and Carol Arnold, Teacher of First Nations/Indigenous Studies, at GISS, and member of the BCTF Aboriginal Education Advisory Committee.
