SUMMARY:Band Camp
DESCRIPTION:Join facilitators Sarah Smith (vocals)\, Dan Weeks (drums) and newcomers Ben McConchie (guitar)\, Audrey Coates (keys) and Charlie Knowles (bass) for a week of jamming\, music mentorship\, performances and songwriting and sound recording! Jonny Miller (Peach & Quiet) will be recording each of the bands live-off-the-floor so all campers can bring home a physical souvenir of a life-changing week. \nEach camper will select their role as either bass player\, guitarist\, keys\, drummer or vocalist for the week! \nThroughout the week\, campers will get to learn many songs with their band\, have masterclasses to learn their instrument with one of our musical mentors\, learn how to write a song\, have the chance to record themselves\, and perform in front of the rest of the campers daily. \nOn the last day there will be an evening performance showcase at the Community Hall.
