Plan to take in the museum's “Once Upon a Pender Christmas”. The event goes Dec 26-30 from 1-4PM. Along with special displays, storytelling, music and treats, it promises to be a wonderful celebration of Pender past, and a fitting end to the museum's 20th Anniversary Year.
The Pender Island Lions are holding their annual Polar Bear Swim on January 1st. BBQ, Chilli Contest, Hot Drinks, Prizes. From 12:30-2PM. Take the plunge at 1PM.

BC Ferries is closing Otter Bay Terminal on March 6-10, 2026 for a terminal upgrade. Water taxi service between Otter Bay Marina and Swartz Bay will be provided during the closure. Check with BC Ferries for more details.
