Celebrate the end of The Dip construction. The South Pender Historical Society invites you to bring appetizers with your favourite dip to share along with your favourite Dip stories. Music by The Dip youth band. From 3PM to 5PM. Just off the road at 9861 Spalding Road in Spalding Valley.

Festivities get underway at 10AM with free cake, good music and a short speech from a proud Canadian.

Art Off the Fence returns to the grounds of the Church of the Good Shepherd on South Pender for July 19 and 20. There will be live music, food and art from 12 Pender artists.

Hundreds of items will be up for auction at the Nu-To-Yu's annual silent auction on the lawn at the Driftwood Centre.

The Pender Island Concert Society's first event of the upcoming season is August 16 at 7PM. Enjoy Diana Cohen, concertmaster of the Calgary Philharmonic on violin with her husband, Roman Rabinovich, a renowned concert pianist. They'll present a program a program of primarily classical and romantic duos for violin and piano.
